if the battery is not useful, people can change it by themselves...it is more convenient for them..rather than make the problem more complicated....

I have wall charger with extra battery, whenever I am leaving the house and low on battery, pop the charged one and 100% I go.

I always have two battery with me..
If go to the beach..1 battery is used up going from home to (train) beach, gaming/chatting/pic/music ect
Then when says low/batt.. i push-in the next battery.. and so forth

I would never buy.. a phone with a non replacable battery..

I learned the hardway..remember the ipod shuffle, mine worked like 3months
-getting a replacement took alot of eforth.. as the store seeked/wished to repair the unit

These days.. a phone is like aio device..
Mp3/radio/video/youtube/game player /day planner/warn me for upcoming events birth/rain/ect..camera
Lossing it.. because a battery problem...un-thinkable

I charge my phone up every night, even when the phone doesn't need charging. This usally harms the battery pretty quickly, and so It's more convient to replace a "removable battery" over a soldered one.

Battery's only last so long and they don't hold the charge good any more. So a new one will work a lot better and keep your cell phone going for years when you can replace it.
