HBOGo not working on Vega 89?

Has anyone had HBOGo working on Finless 1.6? I downloaded the App from Google Play, but it won't let me log in. Every time I tell it to log in, it asks my provider, spins for a minute, then goes back to the home screen with a message saying "Error While Signing In. Please try again later." It never even gets to a login screen.

I tried rebooting, waiting a day, selecting Comcast and Verizon Fios, but all with the same result. It works ok on my Samsung Galaxy SIII, and the computers connect just fine, but not the Vega.

Are you using lan cable? If yes then switch to wifi as many streaming apps will not work using lan.

Nope, I'm using WiFi. I haven't tried running a speed test when trying to log in, so its possible I'm only getting 5/5 on my speed, but I thought login wouldn't be too bandwidth intensive. Especially since I can still use Netflix and XBMC (except for BluRay ISOs, so far I don't have a good enough connection for that yet).

Maybe it is a problem because of HDMI... maybe they don't allow HDMI ???

Hdmi detection is a classical DRM for paid streaming service

I've had this box since it first came out and HBO go worked fine when I first got it but subsequent updates have caused it to misbehave. I can log in but when I try to watch a show it force closes. Same problem with showtime anytime.
