1080p streams stuck after 10mins...

    1080p streams stuck after 10mins...

    When i try to watch 1080p streams from Mashup, they play fine until minute 10, after that there is only audio and there is no video. I have tried different settings but i can't pass this.
    I know this is a common issue with slower devices, but i guess this shouldn't happen on this box.
    Any ideas?

    Nope its not a common issue with the Cheaper devices...

      Have anyone tried playing a 1080p movie from mashup with success? I have tried with all available roms and they all get stuck after 10 minutes... Is it just me, or is there anyone having this issue too?

        Hi there,

        I'm using Mashup, but didn't encountered your issue. I watched couple of 1080p movies perfectly, however for some other 1080p it was entering into buffering from time to time (some time quite annoying). I guess it's linked with the source bandwidth capabilities. I'm using "zero cashing" and pausing the movie at the beginning for 5-10 mins.

        I'm also using "xbmctorrent", this is working very nice for any 1080p movie. Check this add-on, as an alternative to Mashup (or Navi X).

          I have tried pausing but still doesn't work. I've tried all roms, i tried with zero cache on advancesettings.xml, i tried disabling hardware accelleration, i don't what else i can do...
          My guess is that xbmc is not caching properly. I have 56mbs of solid ethernet, so i guess this isn't the problem.
          I have also problems with icefilms addon, it's always buffering-play-pause, i'm unable to watch anything from here. I have a Raspberry Pi with the same ethernet connection and i don't have any of this issues.
          How come this device with quadcore cpu and octocore graphics has worst performing then the Raspberry Pi?

          edit: i tried some other streams and it seems that this doesn't happen on all, mostly happens on viplists/demon88 streams
