Suggestions to improve mini x8h experience ???

Hi,
not really impressed with a few things about this android box.

Air mouse its a pain to use, frustrating to be more precise. Its not accurate at all. I am pointing to the sides to get it working on the middle. Need to press the power endless times to turn it off and some times needs more then one press to do anything.
Good job it was free, i would not pay for it at this point.

Xbmc slow at time and stutters.

Launcher its ugly but thats personal taste, big tiles but it has a cheap look.

If anyone could contribute to improve everyones experience , please give us your suggestions.

A better version of xbmc...
A better launcher or ideas to improve it...
A better way to watch media, ex. players...

---First thing you should is flash a custom rom onto your minix, go here this is the more stable rom right now http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...r-the-Minix-X8
down load this file "Minix Neo X8 - Finless 1.0 ROM (343 megs)" from his Finless post. Unzip the file and do what it say's in the read me file.
---second in that same post there's a link to a patched version of xbmc for that rom download and install it

---thirdly there's a older version of the tvlauncher linked by the previous poster, down side is being older you half to download it from an alternative store in this case aptoide htcsense.store.aptoide.com/app/market/com.awesome.dev.pro/17/1905902/TVLauncher - Pro to install, first download/install the aptoide store then the app "TVLauncher - Pro" from aptoide(note to the moderator i thought i could post the link since it is a obsolete version of a app on google play, if i'am wrong remove the link, thanks)

Suggestions to improve mini x8h experience ??

CPU is running at a max of 1.6 ghz. It is capable to run at 2ghz. So let it run on 2ghz.

if u use the one i linked above from aptoide, the launcher has a built in weather widget in the main screen. But other then that, the aptoide version and the version from google play are basicly the same, but i'd download and install both then remove the one you dont like because there are some functional differences in the menus and stuff so it basicly falls to ones personal tauste

Two problems, have a mac not a windows and dont have a keyboard to flash by .zip

sr i dont use a mac im more a windows and linix man my self but that said i did some poking around n here u go some directions on how to unzip files on mac http://macs.about.com/od/faq1/f/How-...s-On-A-Mac.htm . theres also a video how to "unzip files on a mac" if neither of them help u unzip the file. Go to google and type in "unzip files on a mac" and that will get u more info. Then all u need is a flash drive or sd card and follow the dirrections inside the readme file and thats it
