    Slow network connection on MBOX S82B >>>S802

    Hi I have just brought a MBOX s92B, it goes under a few different names. I am suffering from slow connection to my router via cable or LAN. The precise reason I wanted this box is for streaming which is impossible.

    I also have a WD mycloud connected to the router which is very slow streaming and unwatchable.

    I did an internet speed test on the s92B and received a download speed of 0.8Mbps and upload of 5Mbps. Werid huh!

    I don't have issue with connecting to wifi with my laptop or phone and I have a 70Mbps line.

    I have updated the firmware to see if that fixes the issues but no change.

    At the moment the MBOX S92B is next to useless.

    Can anyone help?

    I think you mean MBOX S82B and if yes and if it is the 'round one' you can flash the Finless version (1.7) which has some TCP/IP tunings ...

      Thanks for your reply. Yes is the round S82b

      I connected the s82b to the LAN and run a speed test which I got 30Mbs, not bad. I went to stream some video from the internet and it stuttered and was barely watchable. It was not very high quality video either.

      Something is very wrong with my box. I think it's time to send it back to the shop.

        Try with 1.6 or 1.7 ...
