Hidden statusbar on x8-h

Anybody know how to enable it (the top statusbar) always? It'd seems to be disabled by default. I don't have it hidden in the settings but it seems MINIX disables it anyway unless you swipe down from the top.
Well, I like to have my clock at the top all the time except for when I'm in fullscreen apps so I'm trying to enable this. Could there be a build prop edit that could achieve this?
Tha navigation bar on the bottom will stay visible when I want and, hide when I need it to, but not status bar.. It stays hidden.

Thanks for any incite on this issue.. Other than that, x8h is doing pretty well for me. I'm on finless1.0 with KO tweaks and I'm using nova prime launcher (which isn't an issue) but I've tried worth the stock launchers as well
as you can see from the pics, i like to use this device as an android first and foremost so i have all my widgets shown in nova but im missing my statusbar.


here i tried to untick the 'show notification bar' in nova 'look and feel' settings. but it only drops the top google search bar a bit but the status bar never shows up.

Update: I've looked through the build prop and I found these lines...
ro.statusbar.widget
false
ro.statusbar.button
False
and the most interesting..
persist.sys.hideStatusbar
false
so I changed them (AND THE SETTINGS STUCK) and rebooted but it didn't give me back my statusbar.

guess ill just use float clock for now. at least i can configure it and make it disappear and reappear on click

that'd be dash clock dudey. there are many many plug ins for it as well in play store :thumbup:

Wow nice homescreen setup!
I definitely should use Nova too, it's the best launcher and most configurable launcher out there.
Is this comfortable to use with IR remote arrows? (i don't have an air mouse, i have S89 Vega Elite)

This launcher isnt very easy to use with the remote arrows.but it can be done. I use a bt mouse and the logitech k400r. Sometimes I use Able remote from my note 3. I really only use my neo m1 airmouse (which has arrows too) while playing media (audio and video apps) like xbmc, Spotify, my cloudplayer etc

Woha, Able remote seems awesome, later i try that.
I'm looking to buy a cheap (max 20-25 euro) and multi function mouse (air mouse, full keyboard, gyroscope, microphone) but the only one good is the Minix Neo A2, but i think it's not working on my setup because isn't Minix.
And yeah, Logitech K400r is the best keyboard/mouse bundle but it's too big for my "remote's table".
Thanks to you, now, i'm using nova launcher too and it's almost perfect, maybe from my sofa the text is too small. What are your Grid Sizes?

I've got the same issue with the navigation bar, I saw it briefly one time but I don't know how have it... Did you find a solution ?

swiping in to see the statusbar and navbar, that's the only way

sorry for the noob question. but how do you manage to get the tablet ui to show on nova launcher? is it something that you get from the third party rom?

hit menu when in nova and enter nova settings. in there there you can configure it anyway you want. just make sure to turn on rotation in landscape

tried but no dice. think it's a limitation from stock rom. will flash custom rom when the next version is ready. thanks. and really nice setup you have there.

thansks a lot. i think it could be because i use the prime version which is paid.
apex is a good alternative too.
