Realtek 1186 Android Update

Hello,

I've a media player based on Realtek 1186 which is running Android 2.2.1

Does this chipset support later version of Android? Any idea where could I find support/SDK documentation of it?

Realtek 1186 Android Update

I believe Realtek 1186 stopped development on the Android. I also have one of these devices that I can now do nothing with. Did you try to Google the Xtreamer Forum?

Ah okay I didn't know that. Yes I did look up on Xtreamer forum but couldn't find any information. I just thought to check any update option on this player for it's full potential use which maybe restricted by OEM's current implementation.

I gave up on this more than a year ago. Its very unfortunate that RT stopped development.
