Measy U4B cannot be detected via USB

    Hello!

I have a Measy U4B and I'm trying to flash it but none of the utilities will detect it. Not even adb.

    Any suggestions?

Did You connected via OTG cable to Your PC?

Do You have - recovery button in Your version. It is Tronsmart 428 clone, In order to flash You need to put it into recovery mode (using connect to PC option in android or by opening device and connecting pin 8 and 9 of Your chip while plugging in usb cable )

If set into recovery, Windows should detect new device and ask for drivers

      Thank you!

Yes, eventually I had got both of those methods to work. I also had to add 0x2207 to my adb_usb.ini for the Rockchip device to show up under adb

      1) Connect to USB in Android. Sadly, this does not persist through reboot

      2) To re-flash the device after it was bricked, had to use short pin 8 & 9 method.
