Yuandao N101 has failed after 3 days :(

    Yuandao N101 has failed after 3 days :(

    So 3 days in and my touch screen no longer works.
    Power up and screen comes on fine but does not respond to touch in any way. I can plug in a mouse and it works but no touch screen.
    I noticed recently the screen on first boot up seemed like it had some kind of delay. Figured it was normal. Then it got worse and finally stopped working.
    Tried rebooting many times, etc. Tried a factory reset using the mouse... No go. I tell you this bums me out big time!

    I am all the way in California USA so go figure I am one of the first to report a infant mortality and failure 3 days out fo the box

    Well time to start the RMA process with in4dealz.com in China. So no more testing and work for me for a while

      I hope this does not become a common occurrence because everyone I have shown this new Tablet to could not believe how nice it was for the price. Blows away most everything but the big name high dollar tabs.

      Most people think it is an iPad actually then I tell them it was just a shade over 200 dollars and they flip out. It does have a heavier solid metal and glass feel like the iPAD for sure.

              Damo is working with in4dealz now on the RNA. Getting off to a weird start but we will let you guys know how it goes. You guys might want to wait to order one for a little while until we see how this goes. So far mine is working fine but my son has not hammered on it yet as I am waiting for the first Bob ROM before I turn him loose withi it.

                Another guy had same problem but he says it got fixed... maybe you should try his fix and let us know.

                  Yes I tried that. No go. Just hot had time to reply to the guy over there. Thanks for telling me though!

                        OK just to give a status. in4dealz.com sent me a ROM to flash. It is a older ROM much older than what came with my tablet. But my screen is now working! I am not 100% sure this fixed it? When I first flashed the ROM the screen still did not work. But after a reboot all of a sudden my screen worked!

                        So I am not sure what the hell.... this could be a intermittent hardware issue or it could be a ROM thing? I just do not know. I am going to hammer on this thing and make sure the screen keeps working.

                        Bottom line now, I have flashed a few ROM versions and it continues to work. So time to get back to learning ICS and ROMs
