S89 Momentary freeze

I've read many threads, but I didn't see anything about this issue:
Sometimes (maybe once a minute), all I can do with the remote is kind of "spooled", and after a freeze about 10 seconds, all the orders are suddently applied. I't's like buffering my actions.

The phenomenon may vary depending of the firmware version but seems to be present since 104k4 and finless 1.6.
For sure, the worst is finless 1.7.

Anyone of you have the same issue ?

Do you have any other WiFi gadgets close that could be interfering with the remote ? maybe worth trying it with ethernet just to see what happens.

I use the original IR remote not Wifi.
I think it come from the box and not from the remote.

I've made a test :
In XBMC, i've activate the debug mode, and when the box freeze, one of the four cores stick at 100%.
Someone know an app who record a graphic of each core activity ? Or better : an app who record the processor activity by each background process to identify the one who need 100% of my second core?

I can confirm also shot lags with Finless 1.6 (using ethernet connection).

Are you having any mouse, keyboard or USB hd connected? I also expierence some lag when I have either mouse or one of my external hd connected.

No more freeze: issue solved

I've try the Wasser firmware.
First of all, the issue still there.
But the Wasser is build on a new kernel, then ,there, I though it was a hardware issue.
like some told, I've tried with a USB mouse and not only the ir remote.
And there, while the freeze, the mouse still working...
I understood it couldn't be a memory or a CPU freeze.
There was another thing: the memory was abnormally full (more than 1 go).

I've just made this:
Settings/PERSONAL/Backup & reset/PERSONAL DATA/Factory data reset

After this, the box has rebooted, the screen with the android robots appears, and, after a while, the memory was cleaned (less than 500Mo).

Then, after re-install some apps, I could see NO MORE FREEZE!!!


I think it was because of the backup app who have install my data a twice !!!
