0911 Nextbook 7 Premium working roms

I'm sorry to hear about that. Here's the Stock update for 0911 made on 12-06-2011 supplied from the nextbookusa.com website.

Use these instruction to install as it is going to be a different format.

Still no luck. I have tried so many versions already and still wifi does not work. :-(

0911 v1.4 test
-GingerBread OS
-Needs this added to build.prop found in the system folder

-Static CPU Frequency (1008Mhz)
-No Netfilter/ IP Tables support (You can use LBE Privacy Guard to block unwanted app access to the web)


1211 v1.5 debloated
-Gingerbread OS
-recommended for stock replacement
-1 Gigabyte of app space

1211 v2.1b "GingerComb" debloated + CWM
-Remember to download b or "older"
-This is essentially Gingerbreads kernel with HoneyCombs UI great for multitasking.
-1 Gigabyte of app space
-Needs the build.prop changed like 0911 test and battery does not update after booting.

-Static CPU Frequency (1008Mhz)
-No Netfilter/ IP Tables support (You can use LBE Privacy Guard to block unwanted app access to the web)


0512 v1.2 "7P1N" ICS
-IceCream Sandwich OS
-500 Megabytes of app space
-Better Library files to Support games unplayable on previous roms (Such as Where's My Water)
-Clock resets every boot up So set it up to automatically set time.

Kernel info:
-Scalable CPU Frequency (Only 3 levels Though 408 | 816 | 1008 Mhz)
-NetFilter Support for Firewalls (Avast, Or Droid Wall)

im from malaysia, after testing all this rom, only 1211 v2.1b "GingerComb" debloated + CWM is working good( type newer, the rest problem with soft key,wifi. i would love if ics can be working :P and thanks again for the great efford, you are the best

So what error do you get when you try to turn it on?
Being that you dont have wifi, I guess you cant download a terminal to the device,
so you could try downloading (see below link for adb and tut on how to install) the android sdk with platform-tools and from adb shell, via your desktop and usb cable to device, do:
"adb shell dmesg" or "adb shell dmesg |tail" without quotes, and paste the output.
It would be one of two things. Either the modules arent loading, or the manufacturer threw yet another curveball
in the form of different hardware. Being that it's both sound AND wifi not working, I am inclined to believe the latter. Wont know without that output.....hope that helps....

So piedad do your soft keys, and sound work when you use the original posting roms? Get back to me when you can. It does sound like what Kuazar is saying.

Also it couldn't hurt to try this rom. Just don't flash the loader

bad zip (nextbook7psr_root_gplay.zip)

I mean the rom you give still shaped zip tool and in which there are multiple files berextensi. img example: boot.img, and system.img kernel.img
and when I open the file inside the zip file there system.img
but why when i extract the file <nextbook7psr_root_gplay.zip> the file can not extract system.img and there is a message in winrar zip incorect `` bad ``
even though I've tried downloading it several times ...... I beg the solution I'd love this rom

Try using something other than winrar! Windows has built in ZIP so use that. That is what I used to ZIP it.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU!! I've had my nextbook (0911) for a year and have put up with constant force closes and general instability the whole time! I thought I was SOL since I have the 0911, but you are my hero!!

The above works perfect. Stable, battery life is much longer, and it is nice to be running play instead of the OLD OLD version of the market.
