    Now working on fixes - SDcard issues

    Now that my screen is working again..... And let me tell you my ROM was made using a freakin mouse! PAIN in the ass honestly and I just did not want to do anymore work on it. But.... Now that my screen is working, time to get back to work!

    I am testing now but I believe I have fixed the SDcard problem. That is the constant waking from sleep and reporting "Sdcard has been unexpectedly removed". Since this is kind of a random issue I need to test a lot but so far, it's looking good. Also since applying the patch I have not had any SDcard corruption issues.

    So stay tuned folks.... I may have a fix. Just need to test more to be sure.

        Well, I thought I had this licked but alas it is still doing it. What a wierd random problem! It did not do the remount thing for hours so I thought it was fixed. Then it started doing it again.

        So I am still working on it. I hope this is not in the kernel! If it is, we have to wait for Yuandao to fix it. But I have not given up yet!

          Temporary fix

          FYI, the sdcard "unexpectedly removed issue" in sleep is related to WiFi sleep. This was the same issue we had on the Arnova 10G2. If you go into settings and in wifi set it to never shut off wifi in sleep, you will no longer have the sdcard unexpectedly removed wake up issue!

          I now remember that I fixed this on the Arnova by replacing the wpa_supplicant file in /bin. I found another RK30 wpa_supplicant file and tried it but it has the same issue (Cube). I am hoping to find a fixed one but there are not very many other RK30 ICS 4.0.4 ROMs out there to try many others!

            Hello Bob,
            Are you having this problem on JB too? I have the n90-II and am having issues with the ext-sd that keeps on disappearing, and I have been keeping my WiFi on during sleeping.
            An progress on the fix?

              Well I do not have a N101-2 so I cannot use JellyBean. But from what I hear it has the same SDcard corruption issue. We all believe it is hardware as not one ROM from Yuandao has fixed it!

              However formatting the SDcard as NTFS seems to solve all these issues. Only problem is ClockWork recovery will not work with NTFS.

                Yes I had been told that by the guy who sold me the tablet and it works... so far so good. I don't need cwm as its for my mother and as long as it works all is good...
