vega 89 - no pop-up keyboard

I just connected my new TV to my box. When trying to type something (e.g. in the browser) the pop-up Keyboard no longer appears.
In the upper Status Bar there is no longer the keyboard symbol but a triangle with a exclamation mark.

I do not find a setting where to change this.

Just go into settings , http://www.beginandroid.com/keyboard.shtml

or you could install another keyboard from the store just as temp solution.

I did notice that on Finley Roms, one of the apps that got stripped is a chinese keyboard, however this app is the only app that allows you to select the keys on the onscreen keyboard using the remote.
