Android TV OS on Minix?

Hi Guys,

I am wondering: Will the new Android TV OS (shown at the latest Google I/O) be available as a Minix ROM?

That would make a whole new device from my Minix. Native chromecast support and seamless tv-app integration for example!

I seriously doubt it. But it might be possible in the distant future to port the new Android 5.0 code name "L". Devs are working on modifying their apps to the new version now.
Finless would be the man if its possible. He has the skills.

But I believe amazon's Fire TV will be the first current device to get "Android TV" ported. Their are a tons of XDA devs working on that set-top box.

Answer from Minix on the topic is not looking good.
