it was advised by Bob to " Make a post in the 10b G3 thread and ask Snakekiller to try this WPA file. I am sure he will test it for you. If it works I will put it in my next ROM for the 10b G3.

I no way have the ability to change rom stuff but wondered if you would be so kind as to test the ADHOC facility that is discussed ?

Hi!

No programming knowledge needed at all. If you look at the first post on the N101 thread by Bob that gives instructions on how to copy the file onto the tablet. It's exactly the same procedure on the 10G3.
I don't have any ad-hoc networks around to try myself.

I have not used the beta rom that was done by Bob and I am still on the stock rom. Is that OK ?

I replaced the file and rebooted and no errors at all.
But i have no ad-hoc network here around .
Sow i can't test it.
If i make a ad-hoc network on my laptop,than i can't make a conection.
My laptop say wait for users.
This is the first time i use that

thanks for trying - i am hoping to use my nokia e52 as a hotspot and connect my rablet using the adhoc facility. if i get chance later i will try and advise . cheers
