Oman is correct we all like to think we have the perfect product on release date but what better way to test a product is to release thousnad of units as everyone uses it for different purposes and conditions and time frames etc list goes on with variables and lets see what people are whinging about and let try implement or improve on next rom etc

Hi folks,
Unfortunatelly I put in a wrong power supply of m wlan-router with 12V/1A and when I recognize I put in the right one (5V/3A) with the result that the red led was lightning but only sometimes. At the moment the led is not lightning. I disassambled the box and measured about 5V at all capacitors and check points. Is there a fuse soldered?

The board version:

S83B v.2.1 s802b/a p6330/2 g/16g

My S82 media player arrived yesterday! PCB version S82_V3.0_20140304. Heatsink mounted a bit sloppy imo, with some kind of chewing gum.
Flashed it successfully with the OpenELEC-Amlogic.S82.arm-5.0.8 ROM. Very happy with it!
The device is streaming way better than my Vsmart Q8 of this post.

this box is going to be the death of me......had power issues and stuck at red light. jumped pins to boot. can't get usb burning tool to see the box. used twrp recovery but image had no wifi or Ethernet now box is stuck and when I boot to recovery and pull image from SD it has no boot loader. please help.
