CWM recovery on Minix X8/X8-H ?

Hi,
Is there a way to get CWM recovery on X8? I want to make a backup but can not find any CWM version for this box.
Is there any other way to do backup similar to CWM backup on X8?

As far as I know if we can have cwm or any other custom recovery we will have to build it. There are some more guide in google to build a cwm recovery but I don't know if we have all the necessary things to do it. I never built a cwm recovery before

Some people here at this forum have full source for s802 devices, including SDK, so with that should be quite easy to build one most probably, especially since they use the common EXT4 fiilesystem. I suppose one the devs here with the source here will do it. I would try for myself but I don't have the source.

Sorry, but you mean that some people got the source because it was released only to some people or because only some people downloaded it?

As far as I have read, only some people have access to full SDK. I suppose it was leaked to some people only.

But as I know not for minix at the moment (I think they do there own things), only for the round devices, because of that wasser is able to dev first fw...
Maybe minix will release after next fw-release (at the moment only betas)...

Finless have an backup app on his ROM.

Or just try titanium backup pro with media sync?

I can confirm that this twrp works. I flashed the 1920x1080 file as well which gave me a full screen. I have done a backup. Will test the restore in the next few days.

but the people in charge at the minix forums are apparently ignoring every one who flashes a custom recovery or wants a flashable zip format rom they want you to use there WINDOWS image burning tool.(zip format roms according to them, causes to many problems)
