Battery Status icon

Folks, just a little update on this.

I have pulled every Yuandao ROM out there and am looking at them to see whats what.
So far I have 9 different kernels. Now I have to do deeper inspection because many of these are the same build but have a different boot logo. Are they really different? I am hoping to find out.

However I have my new 1.5 ROM and the battery icon was working. I have been flashing ONLY the kernel.img to look at the versions etc. In the process I broke my battery status icon. It shows the correct battery percent but the icon is staying full and not updating.

So, now that I have this problem I am hoping to figure out what the combination of things are that causes the icon to not update.

Can I ask you to state if anyone is having a battery icon update problem with my 1.4 ROM?
Also what other ROMs have you tried?

hey Bob,

came from stock and flashed your rom today. Currently the battery is at 91% but the icon is @full

edit: it works, changes @90%

FYI they icon itself does not have a lot of "steps" or resolution. You have to wait till you get to about 85% before you will notice it is missing some blue at the top.
