    702c home button

The home soft key doesn't work. It did until I downloaded a couple of Bible Apps from Amazon. I unistalled them the soft button still doesn't work. Also the large physical button has never done anything. Its really frustrating to use the back key several times to get to the home page. All the other soft keys work fine. I reset it with the recessed button on the back. HELP

I know on some of the other tablets we have lost hard and soft key functions after various apps have been loaded, and while there may be a way to bring it back that is simpler, the only way I know of myself has been a reflash of the whole OS with livesuite.
I am not sure exactly what manages to get corrupted, and not sure what to search for. There is the possibility it is more related to the Android OS on the tablets than with the tablets themselves. I do know that the hardware buttons use a resistor network into a A to D converter as the way they determine which key is pressed, I would guess because that way they only need one line into the processor instead of 5, but presumeably that shouldnt have anything to do with the current problem since you are talking about the soft keys.

Guess I am lucky cuz I downloaded some Bible Apps and so far my keys and all work okay. I didn't get them from Amazon so maybe I'm either lucky or maybe not getting them from Amazon is the key.
