"Sync playback to display" on s89 elite
Can anyone confirm this isn't working ? It works with raspberry pi with xbmc on same TV with same HDMI cable. When video starts it changes refreshrate of TV, but doesn't seem to be working on s89 elite. And if so, anyone knows if thats a know issue or should be adressed at tronsmart developers ?

yes, not the 'normal' (android) settings but at mbox settings... and there disable the 'HDMI auto detection' and chose via click a the row under the 'HDMI auto detection'...
But I don't know if 1080p@24 is yet implemented at 106k4 but at 1.8 finless it is (and maybe also at 107k4)...RK3288 Devices

Sometimes it is better to use 24Hz instead of 60Hz because of the frames per second (FPS) at a movie...RK3288 Devices
