Finless 1.7 and Mele F10 problem?

Hi

I was using the stock ROM on the M8 with the Mele F10 air mouse and it seemed to work fine for me. I updated the ROM to Finless 1.7 today due to the reviews but now the F10 doesn't seem to work properly. The mouse part works fine but anytime I try and enter text using the F10 the screen jumps back a few screens anytime I press a letter key??

Did I do something wrong or is this a known bug?? Is there a solution for it?

i used Mele F10 for 3 days or more on 1.7 with no problem and over a week now with 1.8b

might be bad download or install

download 1.7 again
factory reset in recovery
flash 1.7


i found an easy guide for Mele F10 which activates the HOME & MENU buttons + 4 buttons for video control, i outlined the six new buttons in my post here:
