    EKB311B July 2014 Multimedia KitKat ROM(Fully Working!!!)

    It's for the following device

    EKB311B(MT7601 Wifi, MT6622 BT)

    - New Sources
    - Latest ffmpeg
    - Latest HEVC
    - Dutch/other apps that only run on tablets work great.
    - Rooted
    - Very fast
    - Spoofed as Galaxy Phone for better app support
    - Lots of remote control support
    - Build prop tweaks
    - New Kernel
    1080p or 720p(both included)
    Support Asix, Moschip usb ethernet
    Overclocked ram to 720mhz
    Tun for VPN
    512 KB Cache(default 128KB)
    EDID Fix for 1080 displays
    Ntfs, nfs, cifs filesystem support
    1.6 Ghz CPU, 1Ghz-1.6Ghz Ondemand Governor

    - Latest Multimedia and useful apps
    - Netflix, Hulu, Popcorntime, Videomix, Youtube, Spotify, Tunein etc.

    Plugins for video/tv shows for XBMC?

    I abandoned my JB rom since I couldn't get 1080p working properly
    This is the first KitKat rom for EKB311B with working wifi & Bluetooth!!!!!!!!!!!
    Should also work for people that have external clock for ethernet.

    Will also update the rom to work with RTL8188ETV & AP6330 wifi later.
    Still testing some things and will upload tonight.

    XBMC also runs very well with the bottom bar hiding automatically.
    Getting about 120mbps on my wifi connection(only speed, not throughput since I have slow internet)

    People willing to get the ROM can make a small donation($4-?,since Paypal also takes a chunk) Going to use towards purchase of RK3288 TV Box.
    Later on this ROM will get free when I release a new version.

      I think Paypal works with Mastercard & Visa cards, can make payment directly without transferring it to Paypal first. I can also try to setup Moneybookers account. But they charge $5 withdrawal fee, which I don't like. Maybe Payfast, also work with credit cards & UCash vouchers, charge $1 withdrawal fee? Do you know of other payment providers that are popular, can use on e-commerce sites or withdraw money to a local bank and/or transfer to paypal?

          The rom contains lots of fixes and apps for media playback not present in other roms.

          I'm the only one currently creating roms for this device and it's taken me weeks to make a workable, running rom for this device. The stock rom had issues with flickering, 1080p doesn't work properly, boot loops, wifi not working etc. Other developers said they would make a rom for this device but without the correct fixes and hardware most don't bother, since it's a very rare box.
          People don't have to pay if they don't want to, there are lots of other roms they can use, but it won't work 100% with this box. I don't think a small donation will hurt anyone, to put extra life in their device.
          When I have time I'll try to upload the JB rom I made for free and also make this rom free on a later date.

            Ok! I don't know what's goin on,but I'm waiting for the link long time ago already, you'd made two threads about create a rom for EKB311B and nothing yet.. if you really want help in monetary way, soon the Rom comes up soon I be able to help you, but everything needs to work for example Bluetooth and WIFI ..
            I know create a Rom takes a lot of work though, but don't be create threads without links ready.... By theway I don't have this device, my brother does and I'll help him to installing... Thanks for your hard work!

                  I created almost a similar experience with widgets but because the box only has 1GB of RAM, it uses up quite a lot, and not very much RAM left. If the box had 2GB RAM, it would have been possible.
                  If you know of an apk that does metro style but uses very little RAM please share.
                  Will also experiment with this again.
                  MiniX also has a metro UI, but don't know it their apk works very nice.

                        Are you using my TWRP ?
                        If yes, will i get a cut of your "donations" ?

                        We can't really call donation to it.
                        I personally, don't agree with what you are doing. I would be less bothered if you redirect people to a add site for instance.

                        I understand your point, but I believe this is not the reason you do CFW. I hope you think about this better.
