I got this today from Shopko. Nice. But! I was wondering if someone could make a gingerbread rom for this. I find I don't care for ICS! Just wondering cuz it has different buttons to use to get it to flash. Thanks in advance for your help!!

I have a 702c and tried flashing the 701c 2.3 rom. screen rotation quit working so I flash back to stock. I think tablets with 512ram should have an option to choose gingerbread simply because it is better equipt to run on 2.3. ICS seems to bog down with only 512.

I also have a 701c. I tried the 4.0 on it and I didn't like it. I put the 2.3 back on. But really wanted a camera. So I bought this one. I don't know if I have the guts to put the 2.3 on this one. I am scared that I will mess it up.

Don't do it. The hardware on the 702+ tablets *IS NOT* the same as the 701c. The rule pretty much is don't use 701c firmware on anything other than a 701c tablet.

I tried and it wouldn't load onto the tablet. I ended up putting the 4.0 from the website and it seems a little better than what the tablet was shipped with.
