3.0.36+ kernel!!!. What a joke, after all of the bad words from Minix calling faked Kitkat roms to others manufacturers that had created the roms more than 3 months ago for RK3188 boxes based on the same old kernel. X7 had the same faked KK roms with more of 4 month of development now. Must be careful with the speech against others Minix, risking credibility with people.

Yeah, pretty poor show when they denigrate other hardware vendors months back about the 3.0.36+ Kernel on kitkat yet release the same. Need to be careful with their words.

Who knows though, it's still early days. It's the first official hybrid?? kitkat rom, I'm sure more will come.
Minix development support is far superior than many of the other hardware vendors out there and for that I'm grateful although for the prices they charge for their hardware, it should be, if not better.

I have never seen more hypocrites then them my friend. It seems like even the lowest level employee for some reason feels is responsible for the whole company, they should not take responsibility for promising things they dont even know.

In short, it's called lying, and yet they are the best behaving Box company.

China has a very strange method of competing with the competition, and we suffer from their lawless market there.

Version 002 released

Fixes are:
LED is now working
8GB partition instead of 1GB
Comes with XBMC V13.2.1, which is apparently faster

The activity here shows just how much of a better job the community is doing compared to the official guys.

What a shame, what did they use to call the outdated kernel, "fake KK release", if theres one thing i literary hate, that would be hipocricy.

The user Natzen over at Minix Forums called Minix out for calling all other hardware vendors like Tronsmart for providing fake versions of Kitkat 4.4 due to incorrect kernel versions and not using the true versions. Other vendors were using JellyBean kernels with Kitkat OS and not a true Kitkat kernel to accompany the OS.

Read here, around post #40 from Natzen, he provided proof and links back to Minix in their own blogs criticising other hardware vendors in January yet recently they have done exactly the same thing but haven't apologized to anyone for their own comments, mistakes, misinformation or whatever.

They appear to make a lot of promises which amount to nothing lately, possibly because they're tied up fixing and promoting their new X8 hardware. Who know's.
