Finally job done
I finally managed to get wifi to work properly.
Wifi has always been just fine sitting next to my router, but veeery slow just 4 meters away around the corner sitting in the kitchen. Just reaching speed of around 1mbit download.
I couldent melt the solder on the pcb and could not find someone to get the job done for me. I ended up adding the new antenna on top of the old, soldered to pcb. Speed was now 30 mbit instead of 1.
Very happy i put on the back plate just to see speed drop to the usual 1-2 mbit.
After research on the net i saw someone removed the aluminium from the back with succes. I did that, replaced it with plastic, its not pretty but it Works absolutely fine. I'm not sure if the additional antenna made any differce as i did not test without back plate before adding it.
Just happy it works.
