Warning to ENY and Acemax

The door is open acemax here and listening to the posts, Now to start to be productive and give them feed back on actual problems would be the best solution as your posts got thier attention and only things posted so far are shipping issues. everyone that has an issue can now post it directly for them to deal with.


acemax -(note) proper change logs listing actual changes in firmware should be done for every release. -example.

-mouseissue fix
-changed to proper rooted software
-1080p freeze issue solved
-no wifi issue resolved
-camera software updated,

just a sample but it lets others know what you have worked on and fixed.

I've reported the Video Interlacing Problem To Acemax, they get back to me very Fast and working on this issue now, Hopefully Its gonna be sorted by the next fw release

As mentioned before acemax them self do not make the roms and there is new amlogic resources 0108 which acemax will post new rom soon as amlogic build new rom for them

The best FW release we got so far for the square M8 boxes Carries their name... We all know the problem, Time will tell who's gonna fix it...

we been working with ENY for more than a year, and I would like to protect these guys as they were always trying to do their best delivering support. They never delayed warranty replacements. Orders delivered on time and their price was always reasonable.

If someone requested source codes and hasn't received, then you should know, that Amlogic NDA agreement does not allow to disclose source codes to any third party. In theory ENY should have released kernels sources as these covered by GPL license, but Amlogic does not provide with separate kernel sources. All come in one bunch.
I believe you should give them a chance as what you making does not sound fair to me.

Regarding product quality. Point me to any of the products released by Chinese which does not have defects. I can prove that we sold thousands of their boxes and defect rate never went up more than 3-5%. We having similar defect rate with all other manufacturers, so I don't think it's only ENY's problem.

Before starting the war, try to make sure you used all the paths to come to the peace and cooperation.

I have had the same type of experience. For a year now I have been selling boxes, when I moved from selling Raspberry Pi boxes for Android ones. I've been able to get support, stock firmware & updates from my supply chain in Alibaba.

Im very happy with both ENY and ACEMAX both companies have been very helpful with support and answering all questions as well as standing behind their products and shipping replacements quickly.

Lets hope some new FW's come out soon for these boxes
