I had used LiquidLimez's script (http://www.freaktab.com/archive/index.php/t-706.html), to get market on this tablet; I responded 'y' to the script prompt for removing phone/sms/bluetooth services. I recently tried to install the Whatsapp messenger from the Play store, and it failed with a message to the effect that "SMS module is not enabled".
- Is the Whatsapp failure due to my earlier response to remove the SMS service?
- What can I do to fix that? Is there a way to enable the SMS service?
I see the RunMe.bat script did the following to remove these services:
I am not familiar with adb or the dependencies across these modules. Would moving the !OLDMms.apk.old to Mms.apk with the following script (and a reboot) be sufficient to re-enable SMS on my tablet?
Thanks,
