Amlogic M8 vs Amlogic MX3 (MXIII)

I've spent the last week deciding which android TV box I will purchase, and have been thinking about purchasing a few more to sell in my small tech shop.

The Amlogic M8 seems to be a strong box that receives generally good reviews, so I was considering buying that.

Then yesterday I came across the Amlogic MX3 box. The specs are the same, yet this box is a bit cheaper, seems to be newer, and had a new firmware released yesterday so it seems better updated.

Does anybody have an opinion on which box is better? Any experience with either? Let me know!
    Thanks all,
    John.

    Its mX3 not M3 (M3 was 4gb flash M6 (MXbox)

I've asked for the PCB picture but no seller provided that to me .

Please note you can't use M8 Fw with it plus Ram was 1gb not 2 and New Model = New Problems in this Dark Chinese TV box world

DO NOT BUY THE M8 FOR ONE REASON:

        TERRIBLE WIFI RANGE

I KNOW WHY THEY CALL IT THE M8

BECAUSE IT ONLY WORKS AT A MAXIMUM OF 8 METERS FROM THE ROUTER!!

Also suggest you get the M8 with 2G ram and AP6210 or AP6330. the wifi range is better than MXIII.

but if you prefer to use ethernet, and mainly use for XBMC, then the 1GB MXIII is ok also.

the MXIII 1gb version use the realtek RTL8188ETV module, and the 2GB mxiii use the ap6330.

those chinese factory has been tried their best to low the cost. hope the quality won't change so fast like the price

As you already know you'll able to use round s89 ROMs with 2GB models.
According to some forum users They are gonna port s89 108k Rom to the 1gb model plus Linux port from Staney ....
