    Minix Neo X8/X8-H Stock BETA 007 in flashable ZIP format

    OK folks. Minix is releasing their ROMs as flashable images using the AML flash tool.

    Unfortunately Windows 8.1 users have problems getting the drivers installed and the flash tool working.
    I don't have Windows 8 so cannot test why the drivers are a problem.

    But.... here is the stock ROM in ZIP update format.

    This is the Minix X8 BETA 007 - 7/22 ROM just released.


    NOTE: THIS WILL ERASE YOUR DEVICE! So backup anything you want to keep!
    Minix is not releasing ZIP updates only flash tool updates. The flash tool erases the box!
    There is a reason for this.
    Major updates it is much better to erase as you don't know what junk is left from previous ROM that can cause problems! As people saw on an update that did not erase, things were not right like a missing stock browser, etc.

                    I have tried have tried downloading a few other files on this site and they are giving me the 404 too. Must be a problem with the server

                      Our download server is offline because of hosting service domain name screw up. It will be fixed Monday when the hosting people get in the office. They are not available today.

                        I'm not sure this is allowed so I apologize in advance..... can anyone provide mirrors until Monday. I would really like to flash this.

                        Would this ROM help improve the gameplay with Nintendo 64 emulators? I've been searching for a working solution

                        I'm a noob when it comes to Android mini PC's. but not to Android and flashing ROM's been doing it since the G1 phone.

                        Any info will be greatly appreciated. As always thank you for your hard work
