    WIFI Hotspot

    Hi dudes,

i want to buy this box but i need to know, if it supports WIFI hotspot (tethering)?

I already contacted the seller and he said it does NOT support it. But i dont believe it, i have an really old box with android 2.3 which supports WIFI hotspot.

Please let me know the real facts about the box.

    Regards,

        Hi,
The page says 'cs918" but then it says: bluetooth yes
        That makes it a T-R42

There about 20 versions of this box..
        See..

        About 'wifi' hotspot..
I have never seen a android tvbox with-out 'wifi hotspot' option
But in most cases.. the speeds are quite low..

But offcourse... the hotspot/wifi speed depends on the wifi chip(s) used..
-ask the seller what wifi chip is used
-on the site of cnx are some wifi test results

        Question.. what are you planning?

Sometimes solutions like this are the better way

The key-word for searching is 'wifi repeater' and then check if also able to use it as a 'router'

and then use every device as a client (also this box)...

Yes i have a repeater buddy. But then i have to power on two items instead of one, you understand? i will use the repeater only when i really need it.

Is the box already rooted or do i have to root? do i have to open the box to know how to root? how do i root it?

              King regards,
