Hi,

Is it possible to use micro sdhc cards with the vega s89-h?

If not is it possible to load some drivers to enable this, or are these card types different on the level of the hardware protocol?

i use a kingston 32gig class 4 sdhc card a trancent 16gig sdhc class 10 card and havent had any problems with them .i also have a vega s89-h.i have my s89-h now for a month .

Thanks - I didn't have any luck reading data from my sdhc card, while the pc reads it just fine.

Just bought an old micro sd card (non sdhc, maybe it will work).

Did you try to flash the root hack through this?

BTW do you have a micro sd slot or an sd slot, and use an adapter for your sdhc cards? (I read somewhere that some units come with a microsd slot and some with a full sd slot)


Does your micro sd card slot also look very shaky and unstable, or do you feel the "click" when putting the card in?

I have 104k4.. no luck reading sdhc cards.. hopefully micros sd will work.

Do you know of any other way to root the device? If the micro sd won't work as well?

Just remember the cards must be formatted FAT32 not NTFS or anything else!

Well I tried both micro sd and micro sdhc, both with no luck.

I even tried putting the card upside down still no luck.

Both cards are formatted to fat 32, with default block size.

Any other suggestions, how can I connect the unit to my pc and load the root package with ADB?

i flashed finless 1.8 with a 2 gig card is a class 4 old card .havent tried it out with the other ones .i only tried out to put some apk files on it and played some movies with it .but i find it eazier to do that with an usb stick

I actually managed to flash with a different usb stick, no luck with the micro sd.

The micro sd slot seems to be dead in my device
