    Try a different cable

Don't plug tablet into a USB hub

Or if all fails try another pc

      Newbie guidance

      Hi
I found the web page as my first tablet has finless bob boot screen1.4
WOW what an interesting site , although as a total newbie a bit scary , and overwhelming .
I suspect after reading a few of the posts in the yuandao forum i may become far to interested in all this for my own good .

I have recently purchesed a Yuandao N101 [it has 2 speakers on the front ] N101v1. Running Android ICS 4.04. It has 32gb memory .
      Kernel version.
      3.08+
      yj@mid-server#485
      SMP PREEMPTsat jul14 16:18:48 CST 2012

      build number
      rk30_ics_v2.23.00
      rksdk_eng 4.04 IMM76D eng.az.20120714.175904 test-key

Do i still need to have the rockchip drivers[as per Damos instructions] on my windows vista PC and if so what tool do I use to update the firmware ?
Or do i just put the the tablet into recovery mode and go to the finless bob ROM 1.6 files and copy them .

I have no experience of flashing or modifying tablets as this is my first one.
can any one offer any simple step by step guidance .

      Thanks

Wait sorry, I see you already have Finless ROM - my initial post was about installing, not updating, which I haven't had to do yet.

By the way, I figured it out, so thanks for the help guys! After tweaking the tablet with a new launcher, and re installing my apps, I am very happy!

Xbox 360 wireless almost working lol

Hi Finless Cheers for the rom '1.6 works amazing for me ' i have one annoying problem its when i play certain games with wireless xbox controller the camera spins to the left on its own 'its like the anolouge is mapped to the left trigger ' the controller works fine in Onlive and other games ' its just dead trigger 'gta' & shadow gun . I understand a wired xbox controller works fine which is telling me its something simple to do with keymappings ' i used to own a ainol aurora 2 which i could play dead trigger with ps3 controller but do not have it anymore. Anyway my question to you is would you be able to apply a update to copy the key mappings from wired xbox controller to work with wireless xbox controller . i been searching online and people have been able to sort it out but to be honest i dont really know what im doing .

Keep up the good work cant get over how good this 50 euro tv stick is :-)
