Is a AML8726-MX E-M6 box much faster than a Raspberry PI for XBMC

I am running XBMC on a Raspberry PI overclocked to 1000mhz. I am happy with the streaming, but unhappy with the following:
    1. Building lists of media when navigating to a season of shows or sources for a show can take a very long time. (more than 30 seconds).
    2. When an internet stream starts, it can take a while before the buffers fill and it has a hard time keeping HD streams from underruning the buffer and pausing to buffer. I am on a hardwired network and have a 30 Mbps internet connection.

I would like to get an idea of how much faster the AML8726-MX E-M6 is compared to the RPi.
Does it navigate lists faster and better?
Does it handle networking better and keep the buffer full for HD sources?

How is the AML8726-MX E-M6 playback compared to the PI? I have been happy with the PI playback and display.

    Thanks for your help.

Yes its faster & if your install openelec it will look & feel just like your PI on steriods however running android/xbmcis a little slow, too slow for me BUT running openelec its fine, Ihave mine next to the tv and it gets used everyday, no buffering problems, plays everything I´ve tryed.

I did make a video to show my buddie, nothing fancie just pointed at my tv and hit record but you might find the menu speeds interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCapj6u-_mQ
you can find the linux roms for the M6 here : http://matricom.net/forum/index.php?board=9.0

The M8 as allready mentioned, ithink would be a better choice, its powerfull enough to run android and xbmc & its not much more in cost, well worth it to run a full android xbmc setup.

I´ve got a PI its not been used in months, I can honestly say of all the devices I´ve used the PI has been my worse experiance. Good Luck

Thanks for the advice, I have been looking at the Intel Nuc and also the ASUS Chromebox. Both Great options.
I like the Android option, because I think I can play the free unlimited tablet version of Spotify, I will give it a try and let everyone know.

          Thanks for the Advice,

I ordered the GeekBuying CMX box when I saw them selling it for $49.99. Eric says it does support a Linux option (don't know about openelec). I will test with Android first, because I want to try the tablet version of free unlimited Spotify. It still has comercials, but no limitations on skipping or having to shuffle play. If that works, then I have a Music+Movie+TV box for $50

I also buy one. normally is OK.

But support is not good. waiting Geekbuying support more .
            it's looks exactly same as EM6 .
            But when you looks PCBA,
            some different.

most important not support most firmware.
