X5II RK3188 Quad Core Android 4.2.2

Hello,

I recently purchased http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Rockc...466167067.html (only from ****) The main difference is mine says "Android" on the red sticker and the remote is different.

I attempted to search the forums for answers to a couple questions (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...link-X5II-HELP!!! came up but seemed to lead to a dead end - i'm also not positive my box is a beelink). The first being what ROM (if any) can I flash on this device?

It came rooted out of the box, and I was able to boot to recovery.

I understand this is a minix clone and chipset specific so my second question (which may allow me to answer the first myself) is how do I open this thing? There doesn't appear to be any screws and I was unable to find a teardown video or pictures of opening it up.

I realize I probably should have done a bit more research and got a legit Minix box. Worst case I have a birthday gift for a friend who has his laptop tethered to his TV for Netflix.

This looks like my box and has the same hardware. I flashed with this rom:

And al works well.

I would rather not brick the thing with a bad kernel.
