If you are not using Minix's rom, you won't be able to use XBMC for Minix.

That is not true! Minix XBMC checks for device model in build.prop. If that is correct it will run. The only time it will not is if your spoofing a device.

Thanks Pierre, this is what i did everytime, add 0.5 seconds audio offset but with SPMC i don't have to anymore

That is not true! Minix XBMC checks for device model in build.prop. If that is correct it will run. The only time it will not is if your spoofing a device.

Oh ok, sorry was under the wrong impression. So if a custom rom has the proper prop it would work? That may have been the issue then.

Just tried to edit in Tronsmart s89 build.prop "ro.product.model=NEO-X8", but I was not able to start Minix XBMC, although in system settings I can see that now Tronsmart is NEO-X8.
