new x8 cant detect usb stick

Just picked up x8 had my first play last night got to say the picture quality was brilliant on my sony. Before I switch to finless I wanted to see how it ran UK tv here in NZ live was fine BBCi player choppy, my biggest problem and I spent a few hours looking at the unit and online I have an apk from collesium for the subscription premier league season I as the one on Google Play will not be foundon the x7 so I load from a usb stick, I cannot find the usb stick on the x8 only the units memory ive got two weeks to work it out unless some one can point me in the right direction, I have not added any sd cards to any of my units only because using the usb is quick and convenient, will be loading finless tonight but at first glance here in NZ it was a wow on the picture quality as we lag behind here in NZ. Cheers folks

Yeah might have to format it to fat32.

If this is the case, Back up what you have on it to your PC if you need anything because formatting will wipe it all.
Then plug it into your PC and download the free program called guiformat. That will be an easy process to format your stick to fat32.

You could try a app called Paragon or an app called stickmount. Do some good reading on Those to see if that what you want.
