This TWRP for S905X2 also works for S905X3.

    1. Put the attachment file in SDCard/USB Drive
    2. Plug in the USB
    3. Plug in the power while holding the reset button (found inside the AV Ports usually)
    4. After you get into recovery, use remote to select Apply Update from SDCard
    5. Select the TWRP_322.zip
    6. You're now in TWRP.

Sorry, but I just don't have GT1 MINI-2 hardware, so I can't really build TWRP or custom ROMs for that device. (In fact, I don't have any S905x3 devices.) I have posted the device tree for the S905X2 reference board, though, and in theory they should be very similar.

I had the image on a USB stick. Directed the app to it.
You may want to make sure you can restore your box if something goes wrong, for instance how to MASKROM mode. I am somewhat fearless with the VIM3, as it is seems like a tough one to break.
I don't use TWRP, I was just seeing if the image worked.

    what process?
moved to external storage, and then just used the app?
... what did you put on the device selection?
For me, the app won't See the zip.
I guess this means the twrp app Will see an img file?
yet, I thought stock ugoos recovery would Not flash an img. file
Is that basically the sop at work here?

I take it, Guest also suggests terminal install command, i wonder if a script change to match the language in a recent ugoos updater could help with anyway tried?
    thiughts?
