Minix Neo X8-H 1080p display ?

    Minix Neo X8-H 1080p display ?

    My Minix X8H has stock ROM and I've set display to 1080p 60hz. My TV is 1080P 240hz.

    When I watch movies from showbox movie app, it does not look like HD at all. HD movies looks like 480p or looks blurred. Whereas if I chromecast thru my android phone and watch the same movie, I can see it 1080p in crystal clear quality.

    Do I have do any other settings ?


    Also, If I change to Finless ROM, will this fix this problem ?

    What's about the quality of your WiFi/LAN connection? Which speed do you have/get?
    Which way do you connect your phone (also WiFi or G3/G4 and with which speed?)

      Thanks for your response. My Minix Neo X8-H is on WiFi and it has great speed. As I mentioned before, From my Nexus 5 android phone (WiFi) I can chromecast the same movie and see it in much better quality from the same showbox app. DO I have to change any settings in Minix. Please advice.

        Check the display on your tv with each device you are using and see if it shows 1080P 60hz or 1080 24hz.
