This was happening to me too for 2 days of repeated flashing. Finally, I used the 6 gb parameter file from the older RileyROM 1.1 version. Default 2gb works but the 6gb doesn't and I guess the 12 gb doesn't work also as it is different from the 12 gb parameter from RileyROM 1.1.

        Hello,

The Riley rom 1.1 is not available. I checked the archived roms, and the link does not work anymore.

using 12gb parameter file from 1.1 for 1.2

          Hello,

I have remembered I had downloaded the firmware 1.1 on my work computer while waiting for my tablet to come. I have used the parameter file from 1.1 and it seems to be working. I'm using the 12gb one.

If the nand storage gets corrupted again, I will let all know.

          Regards,

          Brian

First of all, if you take the www out of the download link (in post #1), the ROM should download now.

My strong suit is not hex math...so please forgive my mistakes on the parameter files for this ROM.

Here is a link to an updated set of parameters.

I'm heading to work, so I don't have time to test...but they should be correct.

NP! I have used the previous parameter file, and so far everything seems to be working great!

Thank you for all of your hard work..

Is it possible to have battery percentage like Android Jelly Bean Stock (near the battery)??

If I have a tablet already rooted and just wanted to manually debloat it and manually make the Google Play Store fix described here, how would I go about doing that?

Debloating is the easy part. Just cut the app from system/app to a folder on your sdcard. Don't just delete it...that causes problems.

The Google Play Store fix is too complicated for me to explain...but I can give you a link to a tutorial thread to read. Stay tuned.

I'm having trouble flashing this ROM. After AndroidTool says "Found One MSC Device" and I click Flash Mode, the tablet screen turns black and then AndroidTool says "Device Not Found". This happens to both my Windows 7 64 bit and Windows 8.1 64 bit PCs. I use the USB drivers downloaded from pipo.cn. BTW, I came from RileyROM 1.1. So I was able to flash before although I did it with my work PC at the office which runs Windows 7 32 bit. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Are you using the same cable you used before? Use the one that came with the tablet.

There is a newer version of the flash tool I'm experimenting with. It will be tomorrow sometime before I can post a link.

Yikes. I mixed up the Pipo original USB cable with my other USB cables. I know it's black. Does it have any other markings? BTW, the one I have at the office isn't the original but it works.

The micro end is just a little bit longer.

I'll go through every black USB cable in the house and check

I said it wrong about flashing on my Windows 7 64 bit PC. Actually on Windows 7, after I click Flash Mode, the tablet screen goes black, and AndroidTool says "Found One LOADER Device" (on Windows 8.1, it says "Device Not Found" instead). But when I click Erase IDB, the right pane says "Lowerformat Device Fail".
