    SuperSU Wonky ?

    So I have been running finless 1.8 for a while now along with XBMC launcher and everything was working great. However, a recent update in XBMC Launcher prompted me to try a fresh XBMC 14.x build but I wasnt happy with it so I reverted back to my old 14.x build. Anyways, since then, XBMC, when started with XBMC launcher seems unable to acquire root. If I go to apps -> SuperSU, SuperSU will complain of 'SU Binary not found'... eventually, if I kill XBMC and restart it, it seems to work better (and acquire root).

    Any Ideas why this might be happening ?

    No idea why, but if you want to use it again, reroot it

      I'll try to re-root but the device IS rooted. It's just that when xbmc is launched at startup, it's not. When nova launder is used or xbmc is restarted, root works.

        Setup SuperSu to grant root automatically, it might help.

          OK, the problem is, that the startup is too fast... the demon need some more time to enable/start su...

            Correct. After a reboot WAIT about 30 seconds for the system to stabilize and the SU daemon to get running. These boxes are a little slow about finishing background boot tasks even though the launcher is up and running.

                Would it make sense to set the needed permissions using the init.d ? Perhaps something that could be baked in?
