Sure - but i'm sure many people will supercharge after setting up their roms - like me - just trying to give some advice and heads up. I take you're point on doing it before installing things, but as we didn't know it worked until yesterday I wasn't prepared to do a full clean re-flash. I will do in future, but for now i'm just glad i've ironed out the bugs I had.

what's changed to V2

init.d support
removed superuser only supersu now.(latest 23-08-12)
changed busybox and other files thats needed for v6 supercharger.
ad-hoc support. thx too rriley for testing
latest google play 3.8.17
latest gmail 4.1.2

yes thats correct, if you want v6 do it immediately after flash.
@rriley sow ad-hoc is working with this files
did you replaced all the 3 files ?
or just 1

I replaced two files, the ones labeled manu, in their respective folders and made the permissions rwx. Rebooted and logged right into the adhoc.

The folders you mentioned in the previous post was where I put them.

I did not understand the chmod and the other ch thing, so I skipped all that. It worked anyway.

SK - i'm curious, the new rom will have init.d support for V6 - but it currently works on the existing rom as well, albeit using the 99supercharger script su on boot. What are the benefits of the init.d??

Don't mind either way, just curious to know the difference.

Looking forward to v2 of the rom anyway with the added extras - i'm presuming the modified build.prop with the sleep protocol will be standard in this on. But a 2nd question - do you think this will require a full clean re-flash & re-install, or just an update of the system.img?

if you have init.d , than is the 99supercharger script there in init.d . if you install v6 supercharger.
than its automatically worked on boot.
init.d is for scripts thats run on boot.
you have many other scripts that's works with init.d like adrenaline.zip just google it.
just install it with cwm and all the scripts are automatically in init.d.
init.d is in fact for scripts that work's without smanager.

ps.

i prefer a clean install too avoid weird problems (maybe)

i replaced the services.jar with the v6 one
replaced the wifi tweaks in build.prop with v6 tweaks
added 99supercharger too init.d.
updated gmail,supersu,google play
removed superuser.

so original after flashing you have a faster launcher
really minimal lag
better scrolling on web pages too

new version 2 with new bootscreen ready.
i replaced init.rc too with v6
just tested it with a compleet new flash and its amazing how fast the system is.
i find it faster than version 1.5
i installed v6 supercharger script again after flash but see no difference in speed .
sow its not needed for installing it after flashing.
because the most tweaks already build in the rom.
the rom is uploading now
