If this is allowable I would like to post a firmware challenge to all firmware writers I offer a cash prize of $1000 USD to the best firmware made for the UT1 and UT2 voted on by the members.

WOW! Now that's an offer! Wish I could write a ROM!

BTW: wasser has been waiting for a response from Ugoos on some info he NEEDS to update his last ROM for these devices. It's a great ROM but has some issues and without the info he can't fix them.

Thanks again lokster! The UTs are dying from the lack of fully functional ROMs.

You might as well send the check to Wasser. He has Jellybean and KitKat ROM's for both...and they are quite good ROM's. I'm running his ROM on my UT1. I cooked my own ROM for the UT1 because I was the first DEV to own one, but Wasser is much better at these TV stick ROM's than I am.

Trying to get more dev's involved like the minix since they are very similar doesn't make a difference who gets the check as long as we get something cooking here who doesn't want to win $1000 cash ill even forward it to a trusted source of the devs choice so they know they will get the prize.

Hi lokster mate, i think you know this but I'm not 100 percent sure if we talked about it over pm before but you can install any x7 rom onto the UT2 and it should work fine. The only difference would be if you had the odd UT2 that came with a T chip and then you would just have to flash a compatible kernel if you wanted it unlocked.

So Flumpster, for us who aren't real clear on things, we can use Neo X7 ROMs but NOT X7 Mini ROMs?

On a 32gb UT2 what do you do with something like a Finless 1.9 that has the two different paramater option niether of which is 32gb?

And now that I have one of each a T chip and a non T chip I'll need to figure out where to get the other kernals for the T.

Just trying to get my head straight as its very confusing to me. If wasser just had the info he needs and fixed the few minor bugs in 1.25 I think I would be set. So might a lot of others.
