EM8 Stuck On Erasing in Recovery

Hey Guys,

i have a box that is stuck on Erasing in Recovery Screen and I can't get it to boot. I have tried loading different firmware from Sd card and USB using the toothpick method but the box just bypasses the initial recovery screen and goes directly into erasing.

The customer said he was trying to load the latest acemax Rom and it just stopped at 80% and would not progress. When he unplugged the unit to try and flash again it just booted into the erasing screen and has been this way ever since.

Any suggestions.

Correct. It goes directly to Erasing and just stays there. Let it run for hours and no change.

Have you tried to use a SD card generated with the BootcardMaker to get it with it's own uboot.bin at the card and also place the recovery.img to the card (like the way for the MX)?
The BootcardMaker you can find at tronsmart.eu/download at the USB sction... (If you can use the same uboot.bin???)

At power-on or reset, the processor starts executing code from on-chip ROM. This code reads the Boot Mode switches, and if they’re in the normal position (
Boot from fuses), goes on to read the fuses to find out which media to search for a bootable image.

No go with BootCard + Recovery Image

UPDATE : Finally got it. Had to use the recovery from the AceMax Firmware that he was trying to install. It still booted directly to Erasing but after 1 minute it completed that process and went into regular recovery screen and allowed me to flash new firmware. Thanks for the help.
