I have a 720p Samsung tv running 1080p @ 24hz

Just curious,

I have a Samsung 720p television and running g at 1080p 24hz without any issues that I know of. My question is that OK? I tried to do the 720p tweak from finless rom but all of did was mess up the display so I undid the tweak.

If anyone can explain how this all works in would help me and a lot of other people.

Your TV is accepting the 1080p signal and resizing it to 720p. As long as it's working I wouldn't worry about it.

The only thing I am noticing is when I first boot up my m8 the finless boot screen is larger than tv screen and sometimes I have to adjust the display size percentage.
