PIPO P9, the best substitution of M9?

I took an interest in PIPO M9 before, but I always considered the price of it, so I decide to wait for the appropriate time to buy. However, brand new model P9 has been on presell on TinyDeal, which has better specification, my friend recommended me to buy P9, because it is perfect substitution of M9. What’s your comment on P9, worth buying or not, should I buy it now?

The M9 and the M9 Pro have been about the most popular Pipo products. If you like the 10.1" display I'm sure you would be very pleased.

One thing to consider about buying a pre sell item us that you must be patient....don't blame the seller for delays in getting your shipment. Pipo tends to delay shipment until the devices meet their criteria. And even then, will have several firmware updates to get things right.

I'm pleased with my P1's performance with the rk3288 chip.

The P9 isn't a substitution of the M9...it's the next generation of the M9.

A 3288 tablet with 10.1" display in the case of M8HD will be a good idea !

        Looking for a P9 tester

I doubt that anyone has one of these tablets yet, but I do have a firmware copy and will begin work on a rooted ROM for the P9.

Let me know if there's someone who can test the ROM when I'm finished.

My experience with the P1 and P4 ROM's is that results may very because of differences in the way the firmware developers have compiled the firmware...so some testing will surely be in order to get it to boot correctly.

The p9 looks to be good.. Seems people with the 3288 are happy with its performance. I have an m9pro I got earlier this year due to my nexus 7 taking a dump. I have sense fixed my nexus 7 so I just load kid movies on it for the little ones now.

I still prefer my m9 over the nexus, biggest reasons being HDMI and SD card. I use a sandisk ultra, and I have a USB 3.0 multi card reader on my desktop so when I transfer files its at 40mb/s..much faster than via micro USB 2.0.

I'd like a faster tablet.. The m9pro hangs up a little on demanding programs (still is 100x better thanks to randy!) However, as long as my m9 works, I won't replace it until 3gb ram, and 64bit architecture. Shouldn't be too far off considering android L supports 64 and Intel bay trail is already compatible.

Oh and somebody needs to tell pipo rear speakers are NOT the answer!!!
