    Bricked CS918 (EKB311B)

    Hi guys,

    I was trying out some roms on my android box, it has the following spec:

    Label on box    :
    Model: EKB311B
    Quad Core Smart TV BOX
    Factory: ENY Tecnology Co., LTD

    Board specs:
    CPU: RK3188RAM: Samsung K4B4G1646Q-HYKO 2GB
    Audio: Rockchip RK1000-SPMU: uP6636Q PGU43E
    HDMI: ITE IT66121FN
    Wifi: Realtek RTL8188EIV
    Bluetooth: Mediatek MT6622N
    Skhynix H27UCG8T2ATR chip

    I was using RKBatchtool V1,7 for flashing my android box. I manualy added the driver (Rockusb Driver v3.5). I had no problems flashing some firmware, I tried :

    and had no problems but when i wanted to try the justXBMC firmware by lewy20041, RKBatchTool gave me my first fail. After that i couldnt connect my android box to my pc. The box keeps disconneccting and giving me error : http://puu.sh/aKoDZ/2509cb8864.png
    I cant get to my device managerwhen the box is connected to my pc, because the disconnecting problem.

    Sorry iff my english isnt good. I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
    Hope that I didnt break my box, just have it for few weeks

      Hmm..
      If i remember correctly.. justxbmc = jb
      And your upgrade path:
      Jb --> kitkat --> kitkat --> jb
      The bootloader from kitkat.. cannot boot jb

        I think that will be the next problem, because at the moment windows didn't recognize his device (if I understand it correct) and so we are not at the kk/jb problem with the flash tools and the bootloader.bin at the moment

          Haven't gone in deep, but as a suggestion: try ERASE IDB with the tool loaded with a 4.4.2. rom ( bootloader is 2. something), then change rom f.i. with a 4.2.2 one ( with bootloader which shows 1. something ) and hit RUN ( or flash ) key on the tool. While you hit ERASE or RUN you must keep the power button ( omg, do you have one on your unit ? ) pressed the whole time of tool being operational connected to the device. Sorry but I do not owe this unit. This applies to X7 anyway
