    Yuandao II Finless ROM- In testing now

    I am making a Finless ROM set for the 2 Yuandao N101-II ROMs we have. Piers dump and the Yuandao download. There are 2 different kernels and in my ROM kit I want to supply both for users to choose from.

    Can you tell me the kernel version for these 2 ROMs? I cannot boot these kernels on myN101-1 to see.

    edit: IMO 122 is more stable

          OK so making a N101-2 ROM without having the hardware is going to be a little more work than I expected!

          Some bugs need to be worked out. For one HOW THE HELL to use buttons to get into ClockWork! Same issue people are seeing on HOW TO GET INTO FLASH MODE using the buttons...

          Anyone figure that out yet?

          The Reboot APP I usually provide is not working either... Almost feels to me that someone has been looking over my shoulder and removed or blocked some things I have been using to do things
          I doubt it really but changes have been made for sure! There have been changes that deviate from standard Android practices


          But I will have a full ROM with CWM, init.d, etc... I will get it figured out! Just seems like WTF happened?

            so how do u put n101 II into flash mode?? i still cant get a answere from any1. i wanna flash without the SD card

              Tablet switched off

              Connect your USB cable to tablet

              Press and hold power and volume minus and connect to pc

              Release power and volume minus after a few seconds

              Now you are in flash mode

              At this stage if you have not installed the drivers follow bobs read me in the firmware folder you downloaded

                The N101-2 is different. The only way Piers has found to get into flash mod is using my flash tool and the "reboot to flash mode" button.

                I posted in another post to try the reset button (pin hole). Since the model 2 has this, it maybe like the Arnova.

                Try holding volume - and while holding it, hit the reset pin hole so it resets.
                If that doesnt work try volume + instead.

                Also for my ROM, we cannot figure out how to get into CWM using buttons! We might be stuck using a reboot app.

                  I don't think the N101 II likes being flashed lol. New flash, new fault. Tablet has gone in the bin!

                    sorry to be a pain but i been searching and cannot find but can someone post link to flash tool.

                      i asked elijah and they sent me instruction for the U30GT when i do power+ + computer makes noise but fails to install device

                      THEN NUDDA!!.. cant do squat. peevin me off now

                        Bob is working on a Rom for the Yuandao n101-2 so keep checking the site. When available this should sort your problems hopefully
