S82 power buton automation

Hi all,

first post, i have had my S82 for a while and have just installed finless 1.8 which should help speed things up.

i am trying to use it as a media player with XBMC however i want to make it girlfriend proof so i have installed an autorun app to launch xbmc however the power button on the device needs to be pressed if there is a power failure.

is there anyway to make the box power up automatically once the power cable / power is connected without having to press the button?

so is there no way to have the unit power on as soon as the power connector is applied / resume after power loss?

Only the X8 can do that.

I have no idea if it also works with this device, but at my rk3188 box, if the OTG (maybe via TV) get/have power, the device automatically starts up...
