How To Un-Brick M8 square box???

My M8 box will now not boot up! The led on the front is blue but screen shows "no signal". I can not enter boot loader via reset button method in AV hole and I don't know what to do any help appreciated.
I'm not sure if the usb burn tool is compatible with this box or what the procedure is to reset the box.
I have in the past had to wait 30 mins or more and then it lets me start up but now it is not letting me access even after 1 hour or so...
    All help appreciated......

I Have only installed 2 firmwares. 1st was k200-ota-20140722.zip and 2nd was Finless 1.8. I did this following SD card method using reset button to access boot loader. I'm sure both these files are compatible with m8 square box

They were both working but crashing regularly (1.8 less than previous one)
now it's just blank apart from blue led on????

Try Toggling between your input sources on your TV ( hdmi 1 / hdmi 2 / hdmi 1 /hdmi 2 etc ). I have had the same issue with several boxes and they always eventually display with this method.

Do I leave the hdmi in port 1 and just keep switching source on remote,
            till it finds picture

I discuss another way to unbrick a MX at another thread

!! BUT you have to be sure you have the correct device (PCB) and it uses the right MTD layout (ok, now you arn't able to determine if it is a G18REF and/or the MTD layout...) !!

Tried this and it made no difference. There must be a way to hard flash device = perhaps by USB? ( how was device loaded with software in first place?)
This post was originally started for M8 square box please keep it that way to avoid confusion between different devices

I had a similar issue when installing the 22/07/14 ROM on my box. I was able to get the box to boot in to the bootloader menu by using the AV hole reset method, once the blue led on the front of the M8 came on I had to remove the hdmi cable from the tv and put it back in after a few seconds and the bootloader menu was displayed and I could flash with the new ROM.

Have tried pulling HDMI and reinserting as well... Still no signal.. And blue light on.
If it was a bit heavier it might make a good door stop or perhaps a book end.

I wouldn't recommend one of these devices to anyone given the trouble I'm having with this one. Would like to know what the best alternative is for reliability? As this m8 box is about to get binned!
