    Pipo P9 RileyROM 1.0 (RK3288)

Here is the first RileyROM for the approaching release of the new P9 10.1" RK3288 tablet from Pipo. Due to the popularity of the Pipo M9 Pro, I'm anticipating that this model will be very popular. Your donations can help me obtain a test device as soon as they are available.

This ROM is based on firmware 8/8/2014.

This ROM is for wifi versions of the tablet only...no 3G support.

    This ROM is:

    Rooted with SuperSU
    Deboated
    Init.d/Busybox support added
Pre-Install added (can install apps automatically from external SD "autoinstall" folder)
    Reboot App by Petrus
2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12gb user app space (by choosing the desired parameter file).

Enjoy!...and remember to donate to support future RileyROM development.

    Proud P9 owner!

Hey Riley really appreciate your work. Trying 1.0 and it seems to be faster. The only concerning change i have noticed is the tablet is now getting hotter compared to stock. Not too much of a concern though because it only occurs while doing demanding tasks such as webcaming.

I also noticed stock pipo firmware had mobile network proccess running which is a huge battery drain!! My question for you is their any way to remove these process entirely as in all the mobile stuff from settings in order to put those processes to sleep???

I have a list of tweaks to add in the event of battery concerns.

HAHA...you beat me to flashing my custom ROM. I wanted to stick with stock for a few days to complete my review of the P9. I'm glad to hear that it works.

One thing I plan on doing is dumping the stock firmware before I flash my ROM. I haven't had a chance to do that.
